Synchronize Data to EB2Gov
Navigate to EB2Gov Menu > Synchronize to access Synchronize Data screen.
Overview on how to Use the Synchronize Data
Screen:
1. Select the Sources:
o Check the All box to include all available sources or click Clear to reset the selection.
o Alternatively, select specific sources from the dropdown list (e.g., AR, CU, GT, IT, PT, UB, YT).
2. Set the Tax Year and Period:
o Choose the tax year from the Year dropdown (e.g., 2024).
o Select a specific period or leave it as [All] to include all periods.
3. Choose the Invoice Type:
o Select either Invoice or Unapplied Payments based on the data you want to synchronize.
4. Specify the Date Range:
o Choose one of the following options under Dates:
Activity Range: Enter the start and end dates in the fields provided.
Invoice Range: Specify a range of invoices by date.
Touch Date: Select this option to synchronize all items regardless of dates.
5. Additional Options:
o Include 0 Balance Invoices: Check this box to include invoices with zero balances in synchronization.
o Batch: Enter or select a batch number using the ellipsis button.
o Purge First: Check this box to clear existing data before synchronization.
o Sync Costs By Source: Check this box to synchronize costs according to the selected sources.
6. Property Selection:
o Enter a property ID or use the ellipsis button to search for and select a specific property.
7. Transport Count:
o Adjust the Transport Count value as needed (default is set to 100).
8. Synchronize Data:
o Click the Synchronize button to start the synchronization process.
o Monitor the progress in the Progress bar at the bottom of the screen.
9. View Results:
o Once synchronization is complete, review the results in the Results section on the right-hand side:
Added: Number of new records added.
Updated: Number of existing records updated.
Skipped: Number of records skipped.
Deleted: Number of records deleted.
Purged: Number of records purged.
10. Sync All:
o Use the Sync All button to synchronize all selected sources without specifying individual settings.
11. Close the Screen:
o Click the Close button in the bottom-right corner to exit the screen.
